About Meliora

Hi, I am Laura, founder of Meliora.

Fragrance is such a powerful thing.

It has the incredible ability to transport us back to another time or place, igniting memories and emotions almost forgotten.

Fragrance possesses such an enchanting influence on our moods. Sweet, floral aromas can lift our spirits, whilst earthy scents can ground us and evoke a sense of calm.

Fragrance often helps define our identity, lingering in the minds of those we encounter. It holds the remarkable power to create an invisible connection between an individual and their surroundings.

During the height of the COVID pandemic, like many others, I turned to candles and home fragrance as a form of self-care, a way to transport me to a different time or place. I decided to start making my own, using only the best materials, sustainably sourced.

And just like that, Meliora was born.

My goal since then has been to provide luxury home fragrance, sustainably sourced, that doesn’t cost our earth. Meliora means, for the 'pursuit of better' in Latin, and being better is at the heart of all we do.
